WHEN? The main club hockey season runs from about April to late August each year.

WHO? We aim to field a team in each grade of the West Coast club competition (Men, Women, Collegiate & Primary), and to run Mini hockey sessions in Hokitika.  If we don't manage to field a team in any grade, we can help players who live in Hokitika to find a Greymouth-based club to play for.  The three junior grades provide for both boys and girls.

WHERE? All matches are played at the Westurf Hockey Stadium in Greymouth, a top quality all-weather (water-based) artificial surface.  We often carpool up to Greymouth.

WHEN?   Interclub matches are usually played on Wednesday/Saturday (Men), Thursday (Women), Friday (Collegiate) Wednesday (Primary & Kiwisticks).  Weekly trainings are arranged for some of the teams each season, one afternoon or evening per week.

HOW MUCH? Our club fees are among the cheapest in New Zealand hockey, at about $100 (Premier), $50 (Primary & Collegiate) and $20 (Mini), with big discounts for families.

WHAT ELSE? We have social events and meetings at various times during the year.  Our main fundraiser involve selling huhu grubs at the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival in March.  We also often get grants from gaming machines and the Rural Travel Fund.

DON'T FORGET SMALLSTICKS FOR 4-8 YEAR OLDS!  This will hopefully be happening again this winter, so contact us to find out more!

PROVINCIAL REP TEAMS... Top and promising players are able to trial for a place in one of the West Coast's representative teams, ranging from Mini to Masters (U10, U13, U15, U18, Senior, Masters).  Male and female teams are selected in each grade.
