NGĀ POU E WHĀ

THE FOUR PILLARS THAT UPHOLD EVERY KŌHINE

Home, learning, faith and identity, and connection — are the four pou woven through daily life at Hukarere Girls' College.

Grounded in our values of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Pono, Aroha, Kotahitanga and Tautoko, these pillars have supported our kōhine since 1875 and continue to guide them today.

Hukarere Girls' College has a rich tradition in the Anglican Church and Te Ao Māori. Knowing there is no taonga as precious as our tamariki is what drives Hukarere to foster the best opportunities for young women in all aspects.
