Q. What is the cricket like in Hawke's Bay?
A. The club wickets are curated by one of the world’s foremost curators, Phil Stoyanoff. Hard fast pitches, endless sunshine and a number of first class cricketers spread throughout the Premier clubs makes for highly competitive club cricket. Many of the Hawke's Bay players have represented New Zealand at international level.
Q Can you advise me about Visas and whether I need one?
A. Generally whether or not you need a Visa is something your Travel Agent can advise you and is dependent on the length of time you wish to visit a country for. We will provide you with a letter confirming your place, the address you will be living at and why you are coming. If you have any further questions with this please let us know.
Q. Does the academy provide food?
A. Yes. All players while at the academy in New Zealand are provided with food for breakfast, lunch and evening meals Monday – Sunday.
Q . Who cleans?
A. The players keep their own living areas clean, however the residence will be commercially cleaned two times a week.
Q. Can players earn any extra money whilst staying at the academy?
A. Yes, all clubs have junior coaching available. There is also plenty of seasonal work available in Hawkes Bay. Keen players who want to earn extra money should register their interest with us.
Q. What cricket do we play?
A. Club cricket on Saturdays, Sunday League, 20/20 mid week and other organised games outside of Hawke's Bay.
Q. What coaching do we receive?
A. We have an indepth Curriculum which will be emailed through once we have received your online expression of interest.
Q. Can you help us to book the flight?
A. Air Ticket is not provided as a part of the programme.
Q. How do I apply to join the International Cricket Academy of Hawkes Bay?

Q. When do I need to make the payment?
A. Once we have confirmed your place by issuing “Confirmation of Place” you will be sent an invoice for non refundable NZ$1000.00 (approximately 500 British Pounds) deposit within 30 working days, otherwise the place will be cancelled and allocated to the next applicants from the waiting list. Full payment needs to be paid by 15 days prior to the programme commencement date.
