AMNOHL NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

For over the last 30+ years, regions throughout Aotearoa come together and compete annually at varying age group levels in the Māori Netball Championships. Many young women and their whānau have become involved in a programme that encourages a healthy lifestyle using netball as a vehicle. It encompasses total wellbeing through tinana, hinengaro, ngākau, wairua, whānau and hiranga takaro.

The Aotearoa Māori Netball Oranga Healthy Lifestyles (AMNOHL) tournament has a strong and proud history, so please take a moment to have a read of this historical summary as provided in the "He kohikohinga Mahara: 20 years young!" book, by clicking on the history tab at the top of the page.
