To be eligible to play and trial for an Ikaroa ki te Raki team you must be able to:

• Whakapapa to an iwi Maori o Aotearoa
• Attend two trials (if unable to make both trials, please advise IKTR committee of this)
• Players chosen for a team are expected to make all training sessions or games and attend waka wananga
• Commit to the kaupapa of Ikaroa ki te Raki Maori Netball

As per the NZ Governments COVID-19 reponse, players/coaches/managers/umpires/spectators must be fully vaccinated and show a "My Vaccine Pass" as proof of the vaccination. 

We understand that the current developments regarding the COVID-19 respone may change at any moment, and we will endevour to update you all with the most relevant information as things evolve within this space.

Eligibility requires all players to be under the age of their age group by 1 January each year of tournament for e.g. if you are 12 years old on 1 January 2022 you are eligible to trial and play in the U13 team.  If you are 13 years old on 1 January 2018 and turning 14 that year, you must trial and play in the U15 team. This is the eligibility format for all age groups.
