If you decide you would like to join Kaiapoi Pony Club the application process is as follows: -
- Contact the lovely membership chief Amy Mathieson at [email protected]
- Attend three rallies and decide whether KPC is the right fit for you.
- Advise Amy that you'd like to be considered for membership approval.
- Committee discuss membership applications at their monthly meeting.
- Amy will advise you of your application status and will send you membership registration instructions.
- On confirmation of your successful membership registration, payment of our annual subscription is then required. Subs are listed below. Please note it is compulsory for one non riding adult to be a member per family. Once payment has been received you will receive a Kaiapoi Pony Club uniform top and you can start having the best riding fun ever!
SUBSCRIPTIONS 2023 (1 Mar 2023 - 28 Feb 2024)
All subscriptions include the compulsory NZPCA $45 per rider levy and one $20 adult member levy.

Only financial members are eligible for KPC teams, trophies and club insurance cover.
CLUB COLOURS AND UNIFORM
KPC Uniform for general Pony Club wear is tidy beige jodphurs, appropriate footwear, the KPC black and orange jersey with a white shirt and black tie. A Pony Club Badge and appropriate certificate clip is to be worn. Riders with long hair should have it tied up and (preferably) in a hairnet.
A NZ Safety Standard helmet with a current NZPCA helmet tag is essential and must be worn at all times when riding. Back protectors for all cross country jumping are now mandatory. These can be obtained from any good saddlery shop.
