Meet on Waterstone Ave (off Mazengard Road) just past Cascade Way for a walk through to Otaihanga Road, Ratanui Road, Killalea Place and back via Mazengarb Road.

Lower Otaki River Walk (South Bank)

Meet at car park just south of the Otaki River Bridge. This is on the west side of the old SH1 just before going over the bridge to Otaki.  From there we will walk on the south-bank track towards the sea.

Waikanae

Park in Koromiko Rd (outside number 1) for a walk through the 'garden area'. Motuiti  & Wi Parata Scenic Reserves, Belvedere Ave, Oriwa St, Russell Reserve and the river track.

Paraparaumu -
Statue to Lindale

Meet in Tongariro St, Paraparaumu for a walk up to the Statue, then via the Buckley Road underpass to the lower Nikau Track and Lindale.

Beach Walk

Meet at the car park on Marine Pde, north of Maclean St, near the toilets, Paraparaumu Beach, for a walk north along the beach and back through Te Atiawa Park, Kena Kena Park, Manly St.

Te Horo

Meet on Derham Rd about 200m past the turn off from Te Hapua Road, for a walk along Derham Rd, Pukenamu Road and back along the beach. Turn off the old SH1 into Te Hapua Road about 2 km north of Peka Peka, then right into Derham Rd.

Waikanae

Meet outside the Wrestling Club rooms on Park Road, Waikanae for a walk through to north-east Waikanae and back.

Whareroa

Meet at the car park at the entrance to Whareroa Farm for a walk around some of the tracks.  Take the McKays Crossing off-ramp from SH1 to the farm entrance.

QE Park

Meet at McKays Crossing entrance to the park at the ranger's hut (which is about 100m past the main entrance to the park) – we’ll loop around the remnant forest then take a walk via the horse track to the beach and back.

Paraparaumu

Meet at the Realm Drive entrance to Mazengarb Park for a walk south along the expressway path and back through streets.

Te Horo

Meet at Te Horo Beach Rd round the corner from the old SH1 for a walk through Kerry's farm and along Harakeke Road and back.

Waikanae

Meet outside the Wrestling Club rooms, Waikanae Park, Park Rd, for a walk around the park. Then down to the river and back via some streets.

27-Aug

Bright Ridge Track

Meet at the Bright Ridge Track carpark at the top of Nikau Palm Rd. This is approached via the Lindale turnoff from SH1 to Nikau Valley. This walk has great views over Paraparaumu and Kapiti Island. Some climb but not a steep walk from this end. Finish with a walk around Nikau Valley.

Raumati Beach to Paraparaumu

Meet at Weka Park.  Walk up Raumati Rd to the Expressway track then north to Kapiti Road and back through Milne Drive, the Wharemauku Stream and the beach.
