Raumati Beach to Paraparaumu

Meet at Weka Park.  Walk up Raumati Rd to the Expressway track then north to Kapiti Road and back through Milne Drive, the Wharemauku Stream and the beach.

Te Horo

Meet at Te Horo Beach for a walk along Sims Road to the beach and Otaki River mouth. Park on the grass as you enter the beach.

Waikanae -
Beach Walk

Meet at Waikanae Boating Club, Waimea Road, for a walk north up the beach to the Waimeha Stream and back.

Emerald Glen

Meet at the car park at the entrance to Whareroa Farm for a walk up Emerald Glen Rd/Waterfall Rd to Valley Rd and back.  Take the McKays Crossing off ramp from SH1 to the farm entrance/car park.

Paraparaumu/   Raumati Beach

Meet at Weka Park.  Walk across the park to the Wharemauku Stream, up to Titoki St, Simpson Cres, around south & west of the airport, onto Kapiti Rd, through the cemetery, then back down the beach. (Or the reverse depending on tides/weather).

Chrystalls Bend

Meet at the carpark at the Otaki Railway Station for a walk up the river to Chrystalls Bend and back.

Waikanae Beach

Meet at Otaihanga Domain (Waikanae folk might park on Weggery Drive) for a walk around the lagoons and back along Waikanae Beach.

Paekakariki - Escarpment

Meet at Paekakariki Railway Station (could take 9.40am train) and walk south to the escarpment track then along to start of steps and back.

QE Park

Meet at the Raumati South entrance to QE Park (at the south end of The Esplanade) and explore some of the newer tracks at the northern end of the park.

Paraparaumu

Meet at the NE end of The Drive, North Beach Paraparaumu. Walk down Manly St, through the Scientific Reserve Walkway to Otaihanga, back through Petrel Place and around Kotuku Lake.

12-Nov

Te Horo

Take the overbridge at Te Horo into School Rd and park by the community hall.   Walk east along School Road and explore Arcus Rd and Catley Rd before returning.

Waikanae

Meet at the Waikanae Swimming Pool for a walk north along Ngarara Road to the overbridge then back along the expressway path to Te Moana Road and back via Park Road.

Reikorangi

Meet at the corner of Reikorangi Rd, Akatarawa Rd and Ngatiawa Rd, for a walk along country roads. To get there cross the railway line at Waikanae, go up Elizabeth Street / Reikorangi Rd and drive for a few kms.

Raumati

Meet at Weka Park.  Walk down Hillcrest Rd, Matai Rd to Poplar Avenue. Then back through Clunie Ave, Glen Rd & Matthews Park.
