Alison has been working in the KartSport Nelson Race Control tower for over 7 years and hardly ever missed a race day including when her son Bo was away racing at other (Group E) events around the country.

Alison's first visit to the tower was just to "keep warm while watching Bo race", however it quickly became a permanent position!

Noted for her competence, patience and computer skills Alison is key to the smooth running of events at the Nelson Club. Alison also assists in Race Control at other events in the South Island when she can.
