Dear Parents/Caregivers,
We are looking for players in Year 1-6 to join our school teams in the North Harbour Junior summer hockey competition. If your child is interested in joining a hockey team, please email me by Friday 27th September at rebeccaw@kaukapakapa.school.nz or return the permission slip attached to school.
This competition is played on Monday afternoons between 4- 6 pm, beginning Monday 21st October at North Harbour Hockey stadium, Paul Matthews Drive, Albany.
Players will require a stick, shin pads, sports shoes and mouth guard. These can be purchased from GoHockey Albany, Paul Matthews Drive. They will ensure you get the right size stick for your child’s needs.
Playing uniform is a red Kaukapakapa School T-shirt, black shorts and black hockey socks.
Practises will be held on Friday afternoons from 2.45 pm - 4.00pm on the school courts. Harley Kopa will coach the players at this session. We will need managers for the teams on a Monday afternoon.
