Upcoming courses for players 2026

Player Development Programme (PDP)

Who: All Year 7-8 players are encouraged to participate in PDP - it's a great opportunity to develop netball skills with students from other schools and is open to all who register.

When: PDP involves three training days and one festival/game day.

The cost for PDP is $40 per player, which will help cover equipment costs, court hire and coach/umpire payment.

Registrations open on March 27 at 5pm, information will be sent out by your Convenors closer to the time.

2026 dates:

Session 1: Sunday 3 May
Session 2: Sunday 10 May (Mother's Day)
Session 3: Sunday 17 May
Festival day: Sunday 24 May (rain day 7 June)

Kiwi Whistlers

Who:
Kiwi Whistlers is for Year 8 students who'd like to learn to umpire. Parents/mentors are required to attend with their Kiwi Whistlers for every session to be able to learn alongside their players and support them during games. Mentors will shadow and support their Kiwi Whistlers at their games.

Dates and times for 2026 sessions are:

4pm-6pm Tuesday 10th March
4pm-6pm Tuesday 17th March
4pm-6pm Tuesday 24th March
4pm-6pm Tuesday 31st March
4pm-6pm Tuesday 21st April
4pm-6pm Tuesday 28th April

How:
Email kelburnnetball@gmail.com if you have a Year 8 student who is interested in taking part. You need to be able to commit to the entire programme. The club is required to submit nominees no later than 1 March 2026 so please register your interest prior to this.
