Levin Intermediate Netball Club

Welcome to the 2021 Netball Season

Grading Day is Saturday, 8th May (end of week 1 of next term). Competitions start Saturday, 15th May.

All players need to register here with parent/caregiver permission. A high level of commitment is expected in all our sports teams. Players are expected to attend practices and games unless there is a very strong reason to be absent.

Fees: $50 per player ($40 per player from the same family)

At least $25 needs to be paid before the end of Term One. We strongly recommend setting up an Automatic Payment account. The school account is 03 0667 0195192 00. (include Netball and Student Name in the details.

The fees pay our registration to Netball Horowhenua, partially reimburse our volunteer umpires and coaches, and help pay for equipment and gradual uniform replacement.

Trial Dates (Week 6): (help with umpiring trials would be very useful - please text 027 327 9016 if you are available). Players should wear sports shoes and PE gear in order to trial well.

All players who register and pay will be in a team.

• Tuesday 9th March (week 6) 12.30 - 1.20pm = All Year 7’s  

• Wednesday 10th March 12.30 - 1.20pm = All Year 8’s 

• Thursday 11th March 12.30 - 1.20pm = As called (all players should bring gear)

• Friday 12th March 1.30 - 2.45pm = As called (all players should bring gear)

• Further trials might be necessary to give everyone a fair go. 

Parent Help

We are fortunate to have staff members who are involved in Netball coaching, but we are also very reliant on parents or other family members to help with our teams. If you are able to help, please show this on the online registration.

Financial Support: Being involved in a lot of sports can be expensive. Assistance might be available from the Variety Children’s Charity (check out their website). Please let us know if financial assistance might be needed.

Saturday Netball Teams - Permission

Please make sure you have put your name on the Netball sign-up sheet. 

Permission and Registration is now done through our Levin Intermediate Sporty site which you can access through the Netball Horowhenua website.

You can access this site on any computer or smartphone.

Please try to have the online registration done by Friday 5th March.
