Lynn Avon United is an amalgamation of the previously known Lyndale AFC & Avondale United AFC. In 1996 the clubs amalgamated to become Lynn Avon United Football Club.
Ken Maunder Park over looks the Whau River on its longest boarder and sits adjacent to Rata St, the main thoroughfare between New Lynn and Avondale. The club rooms are positioned to overlook the playing fields and offer a comfortable place to enjoy refreshments while supporting your team.
The park has 3 full size fields, 2 of which are floodlit, plus 2 junior fields, one of which is floodlit and a floodlit training areas. The grounds have just been comprehensively improved by Auckland Council and will be in excellent condition for the 2019 season. There are great changing facilities, and access to the recently completed Indoor facility through Ken Maunder Park Community Trust.
The club also uses Eastdale Reserve with a floodlit training areas and changing facilities.
The club provides soccer/football for all ages for both Male and Female players, starting at a young age with our very successful Little League players from aged 4 years through to the Women's Senior teams and our Men's Conference League and Senior Teams.
