Twilight Social Bowls Nov 26- March 27

These are fun evenings of social bowls open to non players and casual bowlers from local businesses.  They are held twice each season on 4 Wednesday evenings - the first in November and the second in March. Sausage & Hamburgers are available during the evenings will run alongside the green so you won't go hungry!

Great prizes for all competitors at our prize giving on the final evening.

Twilight Social Bowls November 26: The Warren Churches Memorial Twilight Tournament

The twilight Tournament consists of 4 very entertaining evenings of bowls. They are usually a series of  great nights and a lot of fun is experienced by the many teams participating. We are hoping to replicate our November series and attract a maximum of 32 teams of 4 players, teams can provide the own skips or the MEBC will organise for skips to run the various teams. Teams are able to use the club bowls or where a MEBC member is skip they may use their own bowls but all the team will need to use these as well. 


Cash prizes to 5th place, BBQ Hamburgers for the hungry players, great fresh meat/wine raffles are well sort after, music to while away the contest and some humorous spot prizes as well and an open bar facilities also.


We have members who are currently phoning all those who participated from last year but encourage everyone involved in the club to ask their neighbour/friends about signing up for this season. Both the Fishing Club and Pentaque Clubs have sufficient members to put in 2-3 teams, this is your club as well so  we welcome your participation.

Our March Twilight Series  was held on March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th commencing at 6pm each Wednesday evening, A great time was had by all, and we had a superb turnoit even inn the face of adverse weather
