Football Club Operations Manager
Are you an experienced operations/general manager who is looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for football and want to move into a role where you can combine your passion with your experience? If this sounds like you then read on and get in touch.
Purpose of the Job: Execute and manage the day-to-day operations of the club. Grow the club capability, capacity, and resources. Oversee the delivery of all club and community activities.
Key Responsibilities: In this role we are looking for the right person to lead the club to develop and implement a club-wide football strategy in alignment with CSFC Strategic plan 2025/26. You will manage the implementation of quality programmes and initiatives within the club and wider community including managing all the financial and administration accounts via Xero, and all team data via comet and friendly manager. You will actively seek funding avenues and new partnerships as well as monitoring the existing revenue streams alongside our funding team. You will also actively be involved in helping to upskill coaches and help to educate the parents and caregivers, which is a big part of this role, as well as developing player pathways including opportunities for girls, women and aspiring players. The successful candidate will provide regular operations reports, advice and relevant information to inform decision making of the Board, including achieving the KPI’s set out by the board.

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
Strong relationship building skills across all levels
Financial acumen including use of Xero and other programmes
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Understanding of local community and not for profit sector
Experience delivering events
Understanding of te ao Māori world view and basic tikanga
Tech savvy
Leadership experience
Be strategic with a growth mindset
