Parents will:
• Encourage their child and their child's team mates to play within the rules and respect officials’ and coaches’ decisions.
• Teach their child to respect the efforts of their team mates and their opponents.
• Remember that children learn best by example by applauding good plays or performances by both their child’s team and their opponents.
• Give positive comments that motivate and encourage continued effort to all players.
• Support their child’s, and their team mates, efforts and performance.
• Thank the coaches, officials and other volunteers who give their time to conduct the event for their child
• Help when asked by a coach or official.
• Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game, regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.

Parents will not:

• Pressure their child in any way – knowing that this is the child's game and not the parent's.
• Arrive at the venue intoxicated.
• Drink alcohol at junior matches.
• Use bad language, harass players, coaches, officials or other spectators.
• Criticise or ridicule their child’s, or their child's team mates, performance after their game
