Regional Māori Rugby

Structure

Regional rugby is divided into three geographical areas throughout New Zealand. Each region is responsible for managing and supporting tournaments and the teams within these tournaments, supporting Māori coach development, collecting registrations, promoting their region and running Māori development courses.

Each region operates a Māori Rugby Board that provides the strategic direction of regional Māori rugby tournaments and facilitates Māori rugby development.
