Maraetai Sailing Club - Learn to Windsurf 2023 /2024

The Maraetai Sailing Club 2023 windsurf classes are ready for you to sign
up!

The Sunday Learn to Windsurf program has both Beginner and
Intermediate classes available. Classes are suitable for ages 11 and up to
join.

Our 8-week program includes carefully planned coaching sessions
every Sunday that aim to get you learning the fundamentals of
windsurfing and going through how to set up your sail.

Sundays:

• Beginners from 8:30 am - 12 noon, Intermediates from 12:30 - 3:30

pm

Tuesdays:

• Rigged by 5pm, finish at 7pm (mainly for intermediates - see info

sheet)

Our Beginner classes focuses on the fundamentals of windsurfing,
knowing how to rig your gear and aiming to be able to sail to where you
want to go. The intermediate classes are for people with prior windsurfing
skills looking to get into Wind-Foiling, planing with a harness, improving
technique and learning more advanced manoeuvres.
