Marton Croquet Club Closing Day:
The club officially closed on Monday 27th of April 2015 for the season.

Visitors came from Wanganui and Rose Gardens Clubs. We held a morning of AC Progressive Croquet Competition before the weather threatened to set in for the worse and further play was abandoned.

After lunch the club awards were presented and prizes for the days competition.  Stan Wilson made the final peg-out for the season concluding the day’s activities.

Competition winners for the days play were:  Tom Martyn, Shirley Spooner, Krina Fitchet and Jo Morris.

The new season will be opening in mid September but a winter lawn will be available for members to use weather permitting.
