How to get there…
At the north end of Masterton, just north of the Waipoa River Bridge turn east into Te Ore Ore Road and follow the road out of town towards the coast.  Approximately 3km out of town turn right onto the Stronvar Road, follow for 11km. turn left onto Longridge settlement road follow all the way to the end 1.8km until you reach a gate with Ardlussa on it. 

From here please leave all gates as you find them as it is still a working farm with stock.

Head through the gate turn right head through the gate, follow along the track against the pines till you reach the gate with the red range flag.  Head through that gate and the 1000yards mound is in the left through the small creek drain. This has a solid limestone base just take care driving through as no responsibility will be taken to any vehicle damage. 

Head down to the starting range and you will be greeted by a club member.
