​​​​​​​Welcome to Matua Ma, Whanau Sports Club, Manatopu

Matua Ma was established in 2015 as a result discussions and interests from like minded and sporting Whanau from Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Manawatu. The Whanau recognised that once rangitahi left for secondary school and pursued their sporting endeavours, the Whanau connections slowly resided, therefore the creation of the Matua Ma, Whanau Sports Club was established.  ​​​​​

We have teams in the following sports:

• Touch Mixed Social Grade (Wednesday), 
• Squash (Business House)  (Thursday nights from 6pm),
• Volleyball (Competitive and Social Grades) (Monday nights from 6pm)
• Netball Women's Team Competitive and Social Grades (Saturday from 12pm) , and
• Softball Premier and Reserve Grade Women's and Men's Grade (Season commences 10 Oct 26)
• Softball U5 Nohinohi Ma (Season commences 31 Oct 26)
  

Even though the Club is made up of past or present student or Whanau of TKKMoM or Whanau of those members, we will welcome those applicants who wish to be part of a whanau-related club that holds them self to upholding tikanga maori values and traditions.
