MBNC CODE OF CONDUCT


Welcome to Mellons Bay Netball Club, we are all here to be involved with the game of netball and to enjoy the game.  The club has found it necessary to put down guidelines that we expect all those involved with Mellons Bay to follow.

ALL PLAYERS OF MELLONS BAY NETBALL CLUB, PARENTS AND SUPPORTERS, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

RESPECT:

  • Player to player, to coach, to manager, to opposition, to HPNC officials (umpires etc.)
  • Coach and manager to players, to opposition, to HPNC officials
  • This is mutual between the club, team and family support members

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Be responsible for yourself and each other.
  • Take ownership of your decisions and actions to make sure they show yourself, team and club in a responsible manner.
  • Be committed to your team and club at both trainings and games.
  • Be focused and ready for the challenges before you.
  • Dress in the correct club uniform (no bike pants/leggings). White long sleeved ‘v’ neck thermals may be worn under shirt.
  • If you have any health/injury/emotional problems that affect your performance, be responsible and inform the coach/manager immediately so a course of action can be taken.

RELIABILITY:

  • That all parties turn up for trainings and games on time so that the team is focused on the challenges before them (Parents transporting children, you are responsible for your children’s reliability).
  • If you are unable to make training, at least 1 hours notice is to be given to either coach or manager.
  • If you are unable to make the game please notify the coach or manager the day before.
  • Must be available to play any games scheduled over school holidays, not being able to play during holiday’s places unfair burden on your team and club.

If a player is unable to meet the criteria or continues to disregard the above conditions she may be released from the club.
