Rallies

The rally is the backbone of Pony Club, when everyone gets together and instruction is given.  It is open to all members of the club.  It may be mounted or unmounted.  An unmounted rally is usually for horse care instruction.  At rallies, riders are encouraged to work towards gaining their certificates.

Our rallies are usually held every Wednesday evening.  Please let your coach know if you are unable to attend.

Riders must be mounted and ready for gear safety inspection by 4:30pm.

Any notices will be announced at the start of rallies so it is beneficial for parents to be there to listen in as well.  Rallies last for at least an hour and a half.  Our season runs from mid-October (weather permitting) through until the end of Daylight Savings.

A minimum of 60% attendance at rallies is expected in order to maintain your membership.  To participate in any pony club team event and/or be eligble for trophies at Prize Giving, it is necessary to have attended a minimum of five rallies, three of which are on the mount to be competed.
