Monster Boot Camp Netball Club – Code of Conduct

Our Mission:

At Monster Boot Camp Netball Club, we are committed to building strong, respectful, and hardworking players who grow as athletes and individuals. Our code of conduct ensures every member contributes to a safe, supportive, and successful environment.

PLAYER CODE

As a player, I will:

  • Always give 100% effort at training and games.
  • Show respect to teammates, coaches, opponents, umpires, and supporters.
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to learn.
  • Listen to feedback and try to improve every week.
  • Support my teammates and encourage others at all times.
  • Play fairly, follow the rules, and be a good sport.
  • Take care of my uniform and gear, and respect club property.
  • Represent the club with pride—on and off the court.

COACHES CODE

As a coach, I will:

  • Lead by example through respectful, fair, and positive behavior.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all players.
  • Encourage effort, learning, and development over just winning.
  • Communicate clearly and fairly with players and families.
  • Be prepared, organized, and supportive at all training sessions and games.
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and a growth mindset.
  • Treat every player equally and respectfully.
  • Ensure fair court time for all players, regardless of ability, as every player deserves the chance to grow and contribute. All players pay the same fees and are equally valued at MBC.

SUPPORTERS & PARENTS CODE

As a supporter, I will:

  • Encourage all players positively—cheer, don’t criticize.
  • Respect umpires and accept their decisions.
  • Let coaches coach and avoid shouting instructions from the sideline.
  • Be a role model in how I speak and act during games.
  • Help create a welcoming and respectful club environment.

OUR COMMITMENT

By being part of Monster Boot Camp Netball Club, we agree to live by this code of conduct to help create a club where everyone can grow, thrive, and enjoy the game we love.
