GRADES FORMAT

Mixed A, B, C, Junior & D (Development)

D grade guidelines

• This grade is for new players or players learning the game or developing skills.                     
•  2 experienced players (adults 18+ not teenagers) are allowed per team. One on field at a time to help with the skill development of players. No competitive mixed A players.
• Experienced players MUST play within the spirit of the grade ie/ cannot score, scoop, make try saving touches  …..                                                                                                                     
• The 2nd half of the season is for development players only.

Playing within grades 

• 2 from grade above - 1 on field at a time.                                                                                 

• Teams that are short of players on the night are able to find fill in players. If players are from the same grade or grade above this will be noted as a defaulted game.  Players from grades below are encouraged. Please let your REFEREE  know. 

FEES

$400 subs

Prize money for 1st & 2nd, & 3rd place (if 4 or more teams)

$150 D-Grade (no prize money)

D-Grade is designed for developing players, supported by adults

$80 Kids Grade - Term 4 Competition (no prize money)

Due Date for subs 1st November 

Please pay online or cash to a committee member 

Notes

• New Touch NZ rules apply
• Referees are essential for the game - please sign up & help us out
• All players must be in a correct numbered team uniform 
• Suitable footware must be worn for playing & refereeing
• Information desk will be situated at cemetery fields & clubrooms

GRADES

Kids Grades

• Years 1 & 2  (November only)
• Years 3, 4 & 5
• Years 6, 7 & 8 

Years 3-8 mixed with 2 girls minimum on field at all times, up to 4 boys. Two points for a girls try. $80 per team. 

Years 3-8 Boys & Girls grade 

 We will make teams for all individuals.

$400 per team unless stated oth​​​​​​​erwise. 

Early bird discount $300 paid before 1st November

REFEREES

Every team (except Kids and D-grade) to please name a Team referee to help cover games were needed.

Referees must be in official Touch Referee uniform, appropriate footwear and provide your own whistle

Referee tops and rule cards can be collected from the main table.
