Generation Homes Senior Rugby is one of the biggest codes within Mount Maunganui Sports Club.


We are home to over 100 senior rugby players that proudly wear the Green and Gold during the winter season. 

Our Marlins senior rugby players make up our Premier, Development and Colts teams. We also have a Women's team, which you can find out more information under the Women's Rugby tab.

Our Club is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable family environment and personal development across all rugby divisions.​​​​​​​

Players are welcome and wanted for all divisions:

  • Men’s Colts

Senior Rugby Fees

The fee for Premier and Development players is $200.00 per player

Premier Women's fees are $200.00 per player

Colts (Under 21 and Under 85kg players) fees are $200.00 per player

Social and Honourary members are $50.00

Premiers

Mount Maunganui Sports' Flagship Rugby Team.

Since achieving Premier status in 2001, the team has been able to establish itself as one of the top clubs in Bay Rugby and has been hugely successful in recent seasons.

  • Baywide Champions 1993, 2005, 2014, 2017 and 2022.

  • Baywide Runners Up 2010, 2013 and 2016.

  • Semi-Finalists 2006, 2011, 2015 and 2018.

Premiers Training

Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6pm at Blake Park.

Development

The Development grade was introduced, under the direction of the BOPRU, when the Colts division was dropped.

This team is made up of a combination of club colts players and players verging on Premier level.

Development Training

Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6pm at Blake Park.

Colts

This competition was started up again in 2021, and this year we are looking to take it out. Trainings are on Wednesday nights at 6pm.
