Murihiku Swimming Club runs a Learn to Swim programme on Friday nights as well as supporting our Competitive swimmers.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Murihiku Swimming Club club night is held on Friday nights during the swimming season, starting in term 3 and finishing at the end of term 1.

Children must be five years old or over to enrol.  You are welcome to enrol your under 5 year old but they will remain on the waiting list until they turn 5.

Club members still need to pay pool entry each Friday night. Tell them you are there for club swimming to receive a discounted rate.
  
Club members receive a 10% discount from the Splash Palace Retail Shop.

An unexplained absence of three weeks will result in your child's placement being forfeited.

Our coaches are all volunteers and we are always looking for new coaches. Please indicate on your enrolment form if you are interested.  If can you commit to coaching each Friday night for the season (three terms), then you will receive free Learn to Swim Club Night for your child/ren for a season.

Preference will be given to existing members when enrolling.

On a Friday night we always endeavour have at two committee members at the Club Desk to answer any questions.

Fundraising enables the club to subsidise its activities and keep membership fees to a minimum. Your assistance is appreciated. There is an expectation that competitive swimming families will be involved in all fundraising activities.

Assessments of the swimmers are carried out near the end of each term and any changes are effective the following term.
