NELSON CAR CLUB POINTS PROTOCOL 

The Clubs points system;

To be eligible for any points in any event the entrant must be a financal Nelson Car Club member at the time of the event.

Points are issued for the calendar year.

Points are allocated as such  50, 48, 47, 46, 45........ descending to 1, for each event.

Any competitor who fronts up at the Start Line of the First Run, including Practice, but does not finish the run or event receives 1 point.

This same structure is used for all points issuing.

A Competitor may enter several times in an event I.e run different cars or double enter, but must nominate which vehicle will earn him Gould and Tout Trophy points.
If the same car is doubled entered the competitors first three timed runs points are counted.

If cars are of different class then each car qualifies for its class points.
