Umpiring Pathway

We can't play the game without Umpires ...

If you are interested in becoming an umpire, there is a pathway that our umpires start on and continue up if they want to pursue it further ... see below

Note all Awards have a Theory component and a Practical Assessment Component.

Junior Award - Junior Theory followed by a Junior Practical Assessment.  You can gain your Junior Theory by attending one of our Netball Rules 101 classes, Holiday Umpiring Classes or Beginner Junior Classes.  Sharon will advise when umpires are ready to sit their practical component.

Centre Award -  Centre Theory followed by a Centre Practical Assessment.  Contact Sharon or view the calendar for a 1 hour session.  Practical assessment is carried out on nominated grades and carried out by umpiring panel members.

Zone Award - Must attend the Zone Theory classes.  See the dates below.  The Practical Assessment is carried out on nominated grades and viewed and coached by umpiring panel coaches. Contact Sharon for further information and referrals.
