Future Ferns Year 5/6 Competition
Netball Waitakere Future Ferns competition is run during the winter season on Monday afternoons with the first game starting at 4.40pm.

Following our end of season survey, the membership gave feedback on a transition space for our Year 6 rangatahi from 6 a-side through to 7 a-side.
Therefore; Netball Waitakere are introducing a Year 6, 7 a-side competition to run alongside our standard Year 5 & Year 6, 6 a-side competition. Teams will have the option to enter either one of these competitions at the time of registration. recorded.
What does this mean?
This means that when your school/club administrator registers your team they will have to select one of two Year 6 Grade types.
- Future Ferns Year 6 OR
- Year 6, 7 a-side
Individual sections will be reviewed regularly to ensure competitive games and promotion/relegation between sections will be completed regularly.
Will I still record the score for my team?
Yes, all teams will still record the score and submit as normal. This is for internal purposes, to ensure teams are being matched with teams of similar skill level.
Fees for 2024 Season remain uncharged @ $640.39 per team, this fee includes Netball New Zealand & Northern Zone Affiliation fees.
