Good morning all.

Great to see 25 members arrive for a night of club bowls.

Welcome to Lillian Lee to our club night. Great to meet you Lillian.

It is good to see two players return to the fold after recovering from illness.

Welcoms back Pat and John, It was good to see you guys again.

Well with 25 players the committee decided to play triples with one team of fours.

There were some very close games during the evening with two teams with three wins.

Ian Keat,Raewyn Fergussen, and Garry Mc Intosh. and Richard Fitzgerald,Pat Riding and Bill Freeman.Well done .

This coming Tuesday (2nd July) night is the Club Pairs.

Monday 8th July is interclub for those in this team.

Tuesday 9th July will be the singles for Leads and Seconds.

Club night will be available for the Skips and Thirds.

Two upcoming events to look out for.

The South Island Team will be playing Thames Valley at the Whangamata Cub on Thursday 8th August and will be visiting our club the next day.There will be two games. It will give every one a chance to play alongside these top players from the South Island.

This is about the third time they have spent the day with Valley players before carrying on to their next fixture.Please keep this day free. Times and format to follow.

Sunday September the 1st is our open tournament. Play will start at 9-30 am and finish approx 3-30 pm.
