Geyserland Trophy round robin quadrangular

Northland representative team celebrated their first appearance in the Geyserland Trophy round robin quadrangular with a narrow win at the Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club on Saturday 1.April.

The team comprised of Lyn Brittain, Chris Watson, Connon Walker, Judy Bethel, Don Simpson, Kia Ward, Lillian Christini, Allyson Hayward, Don Ross, Bob McKinley, Joe Bentley, Don Christini, Judy Johnston, Trudy Watson, Marcel Ruedi, and Pauline McKinley.

Each player played nine games, three fours, three pairs and three singles with two points awarded for a win.

Northland finished with 104 points followed by Counties 102, Rotorua 79 and North Harbour 51.
