JUNIOR GRADES?

Playing Grade is based on your child's year in school. 

  • Nursery - Under 2-5 years old
  • Year 1 Rippa Rugby
  • Year 2 Rippa Rugby
  • Year 3 Tackle - No weight limit - 7-aside
  • Year 4 Tackle - No weight limit - 10-aside
  • Year 5 Tackle - No weight limit - 10-aside
  • Year 6 Tackle - No weight limit - 10-aside
  • Year 7 Tackle - No weight limit - 15-aside
  • Year 8 Tackle - No weight limit - 15-aside
  • Combined rippa rugby grades (subject to numbers)


REGISTRATIONS?

You can register your child: CLICK HERE. 
This year, we have a new system with Rugby Xplorer. Download the app. Please create your child's profile. From there, you will be able to register SEARCH NORTHERN UNITED RFC JUNIORS.

Once you have confirmed your registration online (depending on your grade), you will need to attend a club registration night to pay and weigh in.

PAYMENTS?

We have several club registration nights where you can make your payment. Eftpos or cash available.

  • Nursery, Year 1 to Year 8 grades will need to attend a registration event to pay and weigh in. 
  • We accept Cash or EFTPOS, sorry no Credit.

FEES?

  • $40 | Year 1-8 Individual player
  • $60 | Year 1-8 Two players (Siblings)
  • $20 | Year 1-8 Per extra player (Siblings)​​​​​​​
  • $30 | Nursery only, which includes a t-shirt to keep.
  • $10 | Addition - Late registration fee, if you miss a club day rego after 29 March 2024.


WHERE CAN I PURCHASE UNIFORM?

  • ​​​​​​​Shorts and socks can be purchased online via CUS website. Other supporters' gear can be purchased via the CUS website.
  • Players will receive a Norths playing jersey once they have been confirmed into a team. They will need to return the jersey at the end of the season. A charge of $85 will be made if the jersey is not returned.
  • We also offer a Koha mai Koha atu 'upcycle' donate, swap, and trade your gears. We welcome all sizes in reasonable conditions. You can bring them along to any of our registration days or contact our team via DM or email.


WHEN ARE GAMES PLAYED?

Games are played on a Friday night and Saturday morning.

  • Friday night games can vary from 4.30pm - 7.30pm Kick off.
  • Saturday night games can vary from 9.30am - 11.30am Kick off.

Nursery grade for our Under 5s gets to play every Saturday morning at Porirua Park where they interact and play games focusing on fun and learning movement with a rugby ball. We encourage parents to participate with our tamariki. 


REGION OF PLAY

NORTHERN UNITED RFC GROUNDS - Porirua Park 1, 2, 3&4 Bernie Wood Turf, Onepoto Park

Year 1-6 grades will play in the Western Zone which includes:

Year 7&8 grades will play across the Wellington Regions.
