When? 13 December 2020, 2 pm kick off

Where? Porritt Stadium, Hamilton (please note this differs from what was previously advertised)

They say:

Nico Girard, WaiBOP head coach:

"It was disappointing to not continue the improvement from our first four games. We didn't quite get there against Southern, but this is a group that still has a huge developmental upside so we'll look to go again against Auckland.

"I expect a similar performance and effort versus Auckland as we saw against Northern. This is what will be required to have success. They obviously have quality players across all positions and are deserving table leaders. We should be going into this match fresh, however, and I believe tactically we have a good plan to mitigate their strengths.

“So we'll see what happens. We have nothing to lose!"
