SENIOR A 2026

The Ohaupo Senior A squad are ready for the 2026 Waikato Club Rugby Division 1 season.

Across the 2020-2024 seasons the senior side qualified for the top five second round championship, while in 2025 they were bottom five champions.

Senior rugby at Ohaupo Rugby and Sports Club values all people wanting to be involved in the game both on and off the field, off any ability and level of commitment.

The club prides itself on the retention of players and people, ensuring we provide an environment that meets the needs of everyone, fun, competition, social, and family-friendly.

The Senior A side trains on Tuesday and Thursday with coach Connor Larsen-Cross as well as assistants Chris Johnson and Ryan Vickers.

Connor is in his second year with the club, first as head coach. He brings a wealth of technical and tactical knowledge.

All the coaches pride themselves on ensuring that all players are valued, learning and have a sense of belonging on and off the field.

This focus plays a big part in players coming to the club and staying.
