TEAM TRAININGS:

Ories 1 & 2 are the only club teams with organized trainings at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, scheduled for Thursday evenings anytime between 6pm-10pm. However, we do encourage players of our Senior teams to attend and participate to maintain general fitness and personal skills progression.

UMPIRING:

ALL players are required to umpire at least twice throughout the season, and we encourage all our members to consider this duty very seriously. There will be a strong emphasis on umpiring and Netball Wellington will be providing training sessions for player umpires. It is a requirement to umpire as a player. Everyone should be comfortable to umpire a game of netball and ORIES will support all players to reach the confidence and competency to do so.

Managers and coaches will be advised each week of your teams umpiring commitments and each team will set their own team rules around shared responsibility towards ensuring your umpiring obligations are fulfilled. Assistance with refining your umpiring skills is available at ORIES, and we will endeavour to run some in-club sessions for all players.
