Welcome to the Otago Southland Pony Club Mounted Games Group.
We are affilitated to New Zealand Pony Club and are proud to represent all member clubs within the new Otago Coastal, Southern and Central Otago Pony Club regions.
Our purpose:
To encourage and support Pony Club riders and coaches to learn about mounted games and develop skills in a fun and inclusive environment.
What we do:
We have an active community of coaches and other volunteers supporting development of mounted games at club and regional level.
We host several competitions and Have A Go days annually.
We support teams competing at NZPCA Championship level.
We have a trailer of games gear available to member clubs for use free of charge.
A strong history of excellence in mounted games riding:
Competing as the old Otago Southland Area Pony Club, local games riders have been successful in winning NZPCA National Teams Championships in 2025 and 2026.
Riders have represented NZPCA as members of NZ teams at the annual International Pony Club Mounted Games Exchange.
Several have gone on to represent NZ in international teams at Mounted Games World Championship level.
