The Otago Yacht Club is a strong and vibrant community that brings together sailing enthusiasts of all skill levels. Our club offers a diverse range of activities centered around getting out on the water and enjoying the thrill of sailing. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming atmosphere that fosters collaboration among our members.

One of the highlights of our club is the fantastic social scene we have cultivated. Our bar is open on Saturdays and throughout the year, we host various social events that encourage camaraderie and friendship among members. In addition to our social gatherings, we organize multiple sailing events, racing competitions, a comprehensive sailing school, and opportunities for social sailing. All these activities contribute to an enriching experience for everyone involved.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking your assistance with several significant projects that require careful planning and execution. These projects are crucial to the club's ongoing success and will enhance the overall experience for our members. Additionally, we have many important day-to-day tasks that need attention to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

We would love to know how much time you can dedicate to helping us, whether it's volunteering for a few hours a week or participating in specific projects.  Your involvement will make a substantial difference in the club's activities and overall functionality.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. We have a wide variety of tasks available, tailored to accommodate all abilities and skill levels; there is a place for you on a sub-committee.
