Established in 1926, Our club is one of the most successful clubs in Auckland club rugby history, having won the Gallaher shield on 9 occasions also winning the Auckland Club 7’s tournament in 2013. Our home grounds is located at Sturges Park, 12 Awa st, Otahuhu.
We have had 11 All blacks come through our Club and represent our club proudly with the like of the great Waka Nathan, Mac Herewini and more recently Kevin Mealamu to name a few. Otahuhu has also produced a number of Auckland NPC, Super rugby and other International representatives which we are all proud of.
With Covid having a big impact on our club in the past couple of years. We are in the rebuilding phrase. Our junior grades were really successful this year. With an increase of playing numbers especially with the girls teams. We are planning to keep that trend going.
We are proud to be a family orientated club that holds so many different cultures . The Family values we hold within our club shows on and off the field with all our players and members. Our club is run by volunteers, all giving up their time so that our community can be a better place.
Ulla and John Roache (pictured right) are the heart and soul of our community within the club. for over 17 years this powerhouse couple have been running the club with support from their Board and other community members within the Otahuhu- Managere local region of Auckland.
