The Ōtautahi Sports Clubrooms are now available for hire. We are located at 

485 Tuam Street, Phillipstown, Christchurch.

Facilities include:


- A large hall, sink, bench, hot water zip, cups, plates, cutlery, tv,  

- Food serving area

- capacity 120 persons - incl 12 large tables and chairs etc available for 

large group hire

- Kitchen incl oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, chiller, hot water zip, 

plates, cups and cutlery available for separate hire or included with Hall hire

- Toilets including accessible toilet

- Off street parking, disability parking, venue near bus stop

- Patio area for outdoor entertaining

- Cleaning equipment is supplied

We can also offer Short term or Long term hireage and 

​​​​​​​Office space/private room available for small hui

Weekend Hire Rates for 2025

All Hire Rates include GST 15%. Apply here



Fri/Sat Night - 5.00pm – Midnight
incl Sunday - these are 7hr bookings (extra = $45/hr)

$300.00 + Bond (Refundable)

Sat Full day - 9.00am - Midnight 

$500.00 + Bond (Refundable)

Weekend - Sat 9.00am - Sun 12.00pm (for cleaning) $750.00 + Bond (Refundable)

Full Weekend - Friday - Sunday

$1000 + Bond (Refundable)




Facilities & Functions:

  • The Bond will be refunded once the Exit inspection has been completed, and invoice is paid in full.
  • The Hirer must only use the part of the facility identified in the Booking.
  • The Hirer must adhere to the confirmed Hire Period. Failure to do so can incur additional charges and possible cancellations of future bookings.
  • As stipulated in the Building Compliance/Fire Regulations the facility can cater up to a maximum number of 120 people.
  • Weekend Hire: Hiring of the facility is strictly for functions and does not include Overnight stays.
  • For all Functions with alcohol a bond of $300.00 will apply.
  • For all Functions/Facility hire with NO alcohol a bond of $100 will apply.
  • The Hirer will be required to pay for any excess power used if they are using or bringing in external plant, equipment, or devices i.e. Bouncy Castle for the function/Event.
