Asenati Tavita, President Bachelor of Maori Development, Major Social Services, Diploma in Event Management, Certificate Samoa Language Level 4, Beginner Certificate Mandarin Language Level 4, Beginners Certificate in Hindi. Villages: Suga, Leauva’a, Fusi Safata Upolu. Saleaula, Savaii. Born in Samoa and migrated to NZ in the late 1980’s, the first in her family to attend University and get a degree. Asenati currently sits on five boards and chairs one. Governance is one of her passions and strives to see our Pasifika people represented. She has a heart to see our Pasifika youth thrive in any arena especially sports. Asenati’s day job is with Harbour Sport as the Pacific Community Manager.
