Paekākāriki Tennis Club is a friendly, community-focused club that has been bringing people together through tennis for more than a century. Located in the heart of the village, our club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Our affordable household membership, relaxed club sessions and welcoming atmosphere make it easy to get involved, meet people and enjoy the game.

Court availability and use

Because they are the property of the Kapiti Coast District Council, the courts and clubrooms operate as both a public facility and a membership-based club.

Our club has priority use of the courts on Sundays throughout the year, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1 October through to Easter. We may also use the courts on statutory holidays when needed for club activities.

When the courts aren't being used by the club on the days above, they're available for everyone to enjoy. The courts are generally available for public use on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, as well as at other times outside club activities.

Casual play is free, and there's no need to book ahead. The gates are open during daylight hours, so feel free to bring your racquet along and enjoy a hit!

Paekākāriki Library

The clubrooms are also home to the Paekākāriki Library three days a week. The Library is open Monday and Wednesday (12.30pm-4.00pm) and Saturday (10.00am - 2.00pm). To contact the library, please email paekakariki.library@kapiticoast.govt.nz or contact (04) 296 4700 or 0800 486 486​​​​​​​

Clubroom Hire

The clubrooms are available for hire through the Kāpiti Coast District Council. To make a booking or enquire about availability, please contact the council on (04) 296 4700 or 0800 486 486.
