Coaches and Managers 

Coaches and managers are the backbone of the Pāpāmoa College sports program. We rely on their passion, dedication, and expertise to support our amazing sports teams and to create positive and fun experiences for all of our students.

If you are interested in taking on one or both of these roles, please fill out the Expression of Interest Form below.

As part of the Ministry of Education requirements, all coaches and managers need to complete the police vetting check and statutory declaration forms. Please click on the relevant tabs below and return or scan back to the Sports Office, along with two forms of photo id.

You will also need to familiarise yourself with the Coach and Manager Handbook.  This handbook is essential for maintaining consistency and quality within Pāpāmoa College. It provides guidelines on:

√  Role Responsibilities: Defining the specific duties and scope for both Coaches and Managers

√  Safety and Welfare: Procedures for ensuring the physical and emotional safety of participants

√  Communication: Protocols for interacting with players, parents, officials, and the organization's administration

√  Code of Conduct: Expected behavior and sportsmanship standards for all team personnel and players

√  Training and Development: Philosophy on practice structure, skill development, and game-day preparation

√  Conflict Resolution: Steps to address disagreements or issues that may arise within the team and/or other groups
