About Parenga Pony Club

Founded in 2009 by Kay Hogan, Parenga Pony Club is one of New Zealand's newer pony clubs under NZPCA. Located initially at St. Peter’s in Cambridge, where Kay served as the Equestrian Director, and Phillips Equine riding school with Lorraine as owner/director, the club has since made its home at Phillips Equine in Matangi, Waikato.

Phillips Equine is a premier equestrian property that provides an exceptional environment for both riders and horses. We are privileged to have access to highly skilled coaches and excellent venues across the Waikato region.

Our dedicated coaches and outstanding facilities create opportunities for youth and adults to develop strong foundations in equine skills. Whether you’re just starting out or striving to reach your riding goals, our programs ensure a supportive, high-quality learning experience in horsemanship.

At Parenga Pony Club, children can progress through Pony Club Certificates, gaining essential riding and horse care knowledge. This foundation will serve them well in all their equestrian pursuits.
