Introductory Grade is for ages 5-10 years old.
It is also a non-competitive grade.
Introductory builds on basic marching skills which are implemented into a small routein aimed to promote fun and technique.
Intros march at local competitions, they have the option to march in Gore and sometimes Balclutha and have the ability to travel to neighbouring associations such as Otago if they desire.
Introductory marchers get to participate in community activities such as charity drives and Santa parades.
Introductory grade is a great stepping stone on the way to Under13 if they want to try marching without the pressure of being in a competitive team.
