2024 Trial dates:

Trials held at the Edgar Centre, Portsmouth Drive

Dunedin Netball is running a 12 week competition in 2024, which means trials

will be later than previous years. The first competition day is Saturday 4th May.

Premier trials: Tuesday 9th April, Thursday 11th April 6-9 pm

Senior trials:  Monday 15th April. No trials required on Thursday 18th April. Please check the Facebook page for teams.


About the club:

University of Otago School of Physical Education Netball Club is known as PHYSED.

An open club that anyone can join - you don't need to be studying Physed.

Premier A champions in 2018 and 2019, Finalist in 2021 (finals not played due to Covid). A team finalist in 2022. A and B team were both semi-finalists in 2023.

Physed A was joined by Physed B, and Physed Blue in the Premier A competition in 2022.

What makes us different from other clubs: 

We want those who choose Physed Netball to enjoy their netball no matter what level.  We focus on the needs of the individual whilst promoting a fun, inclusive and competitive environment. 

Grades we compete in for 2024: 

Premier A: A team, B team

Premier B: Blue

Premier C: Gold, Royal, Navy

Senior 1: Yellow, Teal, ;  Senior 2: Sapphire

What our club provides: 

Team training at Edgar Centre on a Thursday night either 6-7 pm or 7-8.30pm. 

Fitness training on a Monday 6-7 pm at OGHS Gym.

Coaches for all teams. Uniforms and Warm-up tops supplied.

Connection with Dunedin rugby club for prize-givings and social functions.
