Welcome to Plimmerton Bowling Club, where bowlers from all walks of life come together, including teenagers honing their skills, to the more experienced veterans, and other sportsmen and women seeking something a little different, who still relish the challenge of competition or simply prefer pleasant afternoons enjoying a social roll-up on our green.

Competitive bowling gets underway during mid-September and runs through until late April. However because we have an artificial green bowling is possible all year round.

We provide a great opportunity for teams and players of the winter sports to play together and stay together throughout the summer months during their off-season.

Our clubroom and/or green can be made available for the occasional social function, company seminars, or for groups who meet on a regular basis.

Message From Blake Signal:

Hey team,

We are super excited to produce a line-up of coaches that will be sure to improve everyone’s game and get the most out of the sport.

Listen to Bowls legend Gary Lawson who with his 16 National Titles, 2 World Championships and multiple International medals will have plenty of advise for you to improve your game and let you know the secrets to preparing for events and key matches. Learn about the selection process and what selectors look for in their players and what you should be training to help you get noticed. Learn about how to use technology to take game even further with whizz Neville Rodda. Also with Bowls Wellington’s group of High Performance coaches on the green taking drills there will be plenty for everyone.

This is a great opportunity for your players to grow their game and take their performance to the next level. Please pass on to them and encourage them to sign up and take part. Fill in the form on the link below:

About the Club

Formed in 1926, the Plimmerton Bowling club is host to both men and women players and a smaller number of social members. New members whether playing or social are always welcome.

Situated at 11 Grays Road, Plimmerton, the club is immediately accessible from State Highway One and is within 5 minutes easy walk of the Plimmerton railway station. There is ample off-street parking available.

The Club has a top quality, full size artificial green, available for club and casual play, including galas all year round.
