Winter bowling at Plimmerton

Several members have been asking about our winter schedule so here it is - 

Saturday Club Days  - 1.30pm, names in by 1pm. These club days are self-running, everyone pitches in to help with setting up and organising afternoon tea.

Val and Dave Hadfield will still run the Joker each week. Raffles will still be available. We usually play one game before and one after afternoon tea. Everyone is welcome to bring friends and family along. Mufti not uniform until Opening Day in September.

Wednesdays Winter Indoor/outdoors bowls 2024 - All welcome Wednesday mornings 9.30am

Message from Pam Burrows -

Indoor bowls will start next Wednesday 22 May.   Please be there by 9.30 for 9.45am start to help set up and for teams to be organised.  The format is two games with morning team in between each game, finishing by 12 noon.  The cost is $2 per person to cover morning tea and a small raffle. (Please supply a small gift for the raffle).  Weather permitting, outdoor bowls will also be an option.  No uniform, please wear MUFTI.  Look forward to seeing you all.

Three Bowl Triples (any combination)

Every second Thursday from 23 May to 29 August 2024 - (see full list of dates below)

First game starts at 10am (tea/coffee etc from 9.30am) - 3 games of 10 ends (it was originally going to be 4 games of 8 ends).

Kitty placed by the Skips

Free hot lunch provided after the first game (it was originally going to be after the second game)

Entry fee - $45 per team ($15 per player)

Cash Prizes - Ist ($150 per team), 2nd ($90 per team), 3rd ($60 per team), Lucky Team ($45)
