About Us:

Queenstown Ice Skating Club is the only figure skating club in the Queenstown/Southern Lakes District and for thirty years, has welcomed newcomers to the sport of Figure Skating.

Based at Queenstown Ice Arena we foster the development of skating skills at all competitive levels including local, regional, national and international competitions.

Queenstown is affiliated to the New Zealand Ice Figure Skating Association who govern the sport as a whole in New Zealand.

The aim of the Queenstown Ice Skating Club is to develop, promote and administer the sport of figure skating at all competitive, representative, social and learner levels within the Queenstown/Southern Lakes District.

The club has an ever growing membership, ranging from 3 year old Kiwi Skaters through to adult beginners.

So whether you are or have a competitive skater or skating but not sure about competing or new to the sport, we have worked with our coaching team, committee, Ice Arena and budget to bring a program to hopefully fit most skaters/families for this period of time.
