PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

  • You must attend your teams training sessions at the specified time.  Attendance is compulsory unless you are unwell.  The Coach/Manager must be informed prior to the training.​​​​​​​
  • At practice, you are expected to be respectful and listen to your Coach/Manager and participate in a positive friendly and cooperative way at all times.
  • You must wear your uniform correctly and neatly at all times for competion.
  • You are expected to report to your Coach/Manager at the specified time before a competition game.
  • During the season, you are expected to be a good sport, play by the rules, work equally hard for yourself and your team and show respect to your Opponents, Umpires, Coach and Manager - and yourself.
  • Respect your Coach and Managers decisions
  • You must not question an Umpire's decision, or verbally abuse an Umpire, during the game.  If you have any concerns, discuss these with your Coach/Manager at an interval.  
  • You are expected to treat all team members as equals.  Bullying, verbal abuse or any player isolation, will not be tolerated.
  • All Players playing in Grade 4 or above are expected to be able to umpire when required to do so by the Club.  RNC do their absolute best to provide Club Umpires for each team, each season,  however there may be times these people are not able to do their round.  If you are unable to Umpire when requested to do so by RNC, it is your responsiblilty to find a replacement umpire to cover you.​​​​​​​
  • All Grade 4 and above Players must have a current Umpire Test Certificate on file with NCNC (Valid for 4 years)

The committee has decided that these rules must be adhered too.

The following will apply for any breach of the above rules.


  • Failure to attend a training session without letting the Coach/Manager know, or not a valid reason - a full or partial game stand down.
  • Failure to be on time for a training session, without letting the Coach/Manager know - a warning.  However, a regular pattern of lateness could result in a stand down.
  • Failure to arrive at the specified time for a competition game - stand down period during that game.
  • Failure to arrive at a competition game without letting the Coach/Manager know - a full game stand down the following game.
  • Failure to arrive at the specified time to Umpire when requested to do so - Any fines imposed by NCNC, will be your responsibility.  RNC will forward you the NCNC invoice for payment
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Failure to comply with our "Code of Conduct", will result in formal disciplinary action being taken by the committee.  The steps in this process are:
  1. Coach speaks to the player and contacts parent/caregiver
  2. Written warning from the Committee
  3. Dismissal from the club.
