Representative Player Eligibility

PPTANC members are governed by the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty (NWBOP) Zone and Netball New Zealand regulations.  Refer to the NWBOP website.

1. A player shall be registered within only one Zone, i.e. Auckland & Waikato/Bay of Plenty, in any one calendar year (1 January to 31 December inclusive).
2. For a player to be eligible to represent PPTANC, they must be registered to a club and or school within the Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone (WBOP).
3. Players will be trialing under the relevant age group in accordance to their birth date.  Ie: if they are born in the year 2010 or 2011, they will be trialing for the Under 16 Representative team.

          1. Under 14s  (Born 2012 or 2013)

          2. Under 16s (Born 2010 or 2011)

          3. Under 18s (Born 2008 or 2009)

     4. Players that would like to trial for a higher age group must apply in writing to representatives@tanc.co.nz before the trial. 

Representative Team Fixtures

1. ​​​​​​​Representative Teams are under the overall guidance and control of the Centre.
2. The Centre will provide guidelines for Coaches, Managers, Players, Umpires, Spectators and Parents.
3. Players will be expected to contribute to representative costs. These fees are to be paid to the PPTANC prior to the first (1st) Tournament.
